Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts. Float based on schedule.
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and daily census of 14 patients
- 13-week assignment with competitive travel nursing compensation
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
- Epic charting system with 12 hours of orientation provided
- Specialized equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) for advanced critical care
- One pre-approved time off period available during contract
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of application)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS and PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with ventilator management, arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, and critical care skills
- Cannot reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
