Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM). Self-scheduling with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Work in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 staffed beds
• Manageable patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
• No on-call requirements or floating between units
• 11-room labor and delivery unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces
• 24-hour orientation period with one pre-approved time-off request available

Requirements:

• Active RN license with compact privileges (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Required skills: Circulate for C-section, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, use of external fetal monitoring, and triage
• Electronic charting system experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must not reside within 50-mile local radius
