Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / PACU – Healdsburg, CA 95448

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Northern California wine country region

Schedule: Day shift with variable start times (7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM), 5x8-hour shifts, plus call coverage. Weekend rotation required with expectation to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). 13-week assignment through September 28, 2026.

Highlights:

• Pre-op and PACU nursing in a community hospital setting serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Daily census of 3-6 patients with exposure to general surgery, orthopedic, endoscopic, and laparoscopic procedures
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Responsibilities include pre-admit phone calls, pre-op assessment and education, and follow-up patient communication
• Flexibility to support multiple affiliated facilities in the region as needed

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of PACU nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Experience with general, orthopedic, endoscopic/laparoscopic procedures, cholecystectomy, colon surgery, and hysterectomy
• Proficiency in obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, pre-op and post-op procedures
• Willingness to float to affiliated facilities in Petaluma and Santa Rosa
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
