Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Burbank, CA 91505

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Burbank, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 - 15:00). On-call requirements include 4-6 call shifts per 6-week period. Call times are Monday through Friday 2300-0700 and Saturday/Sunday 0700-1900 or 1900-0700. Weekend work primarily for call shift coverage.

• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with 15 operating rooms and daily census of 20-40 cases

• 40 hours of paid orientation with free parking and flexible scrub color policy
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• 13-week assignment with potential for block scheduling per manager discretion

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required; Mediteach experience preferred
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days (required prior to start)
• Proficiency in general surgery, orthopedic/spine, urology, and thoracic procedures including laparoscopic techniques, joint replacements, cystoscopy, and wound management
• Experience with cell saver, laser safety, radiation safety, blood product administration, and specimen handling
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
