Description
Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – Portland, OR 97225
Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:00), 40-hour orientation provided. No on-call, no weekends, no block scheduling required. 1:1 patient ratios with an average daily census of 25 procedures across 7 rooms.
Highlights:
- 536-bed teaching hospital offering comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional services
- Departmental procedures include neuro-vascular, cardiac, interventional radiology, and structural heart interventions
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience required; neuro procedural experience preferred including diagnostic carotid/cerebral angiograms, stroke thrombectomy, and cerebral coil embolization
- Epic charting system; scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff
- No parking fees; potential to float within service line based on experience
- 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation package
Requirements:
- CCI RCIS or ARRT certification with OBMI licensure
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required to operate fluoroscopy; candidates with active Radiology Technologist license from another state may be screened if willing to apply for Oregon license
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Electrophysiology (EP) lab experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Reliable vehicle required for this assignment
- 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
