Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift with rotating schedules including Saturday/Sunday 06:30-23:00 and Monday 06:30-15:00. Primarily 10-hour shifts with minimal call requirements (1-2 shifts every 6 weeks). Weekend coverage required (2 weekends per contract).

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment at a Trauma Level I facility with 14 operating rooms and an average daily census of 45 cases
• Diverse surgical case mix including orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urologic procedures
• Exposure to advanced robotic surgery platforms including da Vinci robotic systems across multiple specialties
• 1:1 patient ratio ensuring focused perioperative care
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Up to two pre-approved time-off periods available

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license (state or compact license required at time of application)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urologic surgical procedures required
• Experience with da Vinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic cases preferred
• Compliance items and lab work must be completed within 48 hours of contract acceptance
