Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week available. Overtime available for hours exceeding 48 per week. Six weekend shifts required within a six-week period. Floating to like units as needed.

• 32-bed medical surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Rapid response team support available on-site
• No call required; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• First-time travelers accepted with one year of recent experience
• Travel assignment duration of 91 days (13 weeks) with orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum one year of recent medical surgical nursing experience
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in blood product administration, IV management, central line care, wound care, PCA pumps, chest tubes, and isolation precautions
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility location
