Description
Job Opportunity – Radiology / X-Ray Technologist – Portland, OR 97225
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM (4x10-Hour shifts). On-call requirement of 3 shifts per month. No weekend coverage required. Block scheduling with guaranteed 40 hours of orientation.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment at a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
- Daily census of approximately 475 patients with 280 visits per day
- Epic charting system in use; experience preferred
- Diverse patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- No parking fees; scrubs color flexible (provided for OR/Cath Lab)
- Up to 6 days of requested time off can be auto-approved
Requirements:
- ARRT(R) certification required
- BLS certification current
- Fluoroscopy permit required
- Oregon state licensure (may submit with pending)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an X-Ray Technologist
- Core competencies required: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal imaging, surgery/C-Arm procedures
- Epic charting experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Reliable transportation required for this assignment
- Must not have worked at this health system within the past 3 months
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
