Job Opportunity – Pharmacist Inpatient – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00), block scheduling. No weekends, no on-call, no floating required. 91-day assignment through October 5, 2026.

Highlights:

• Critical Access Hospital and Level III Trauma Center with 25 staffed beds
• Patient ratio of 1:20 in a teaching hospital environment
• Reduced non-billable orientation hours for this position
• Work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility

Requirements:

• Active Oregon Pharmacist License required (may submit with license pending)
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience required
• Outpatient infusion experience required
• Experience with chemotherapy/hazardous drug handling required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Experience with Pyxis system and home health infusion preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Inpatient/acute care experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
