Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: Block scheduling with day shifts (07:00 - 17:00) and night shifts (22:00 - 08:00), 4x10-hour shifts. Weekend coverage required. On-call for overnight patient care needs. Patient ratio: 1 pharmacist to 25 patients.

• Critical Access Hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation
• 25-bed facility with daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Reduced non-billable orientation – 0 hours versus standard 40 hours
• Epic charting system in use throughout facility
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Diverse patient population serving adolescents, adults, and geriatrics across multiple units including Med Surg, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, and Outpatient Infusion

Requirements:

• Active Oregon Pharmacist License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience required
• Inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Chemo/Hazardous Drug certification required
• Home Health Infusion and Pyxis experience required
• Outpatient Infusion experience required
• Reliable vehicle required for this assignment
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
