Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist / OR Tech – Torrance, CA 90503

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Southern California, Los Angeles County

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:45 - 16:45). Call required every 6 weeks: 2 weeknights from 11p-7a and 1x 48-hour weekend from Saturday 7a - Monday 7a. Average daily surgical case volume of 25 cases.

• 356-bed acute care hospital with 10 operating rooms
• Diverse surgical specialties including neurosurgery, cardiac, orthopedic, general, urology, GYN, plastic, ENT, spine, and robotic surgery
• Epic charting system with 16-hour orientation program
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Xi robot, laparoscopic equipment, and power drills
• Average daily tray volume of 100 with comprehensive case cart system
• May float to affiliated medical centers within the region

Requirements:

• Active California Surgical Tech license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2-3 years of surgical technology experience
• Required: Case cart experience, scrub experience, DaVinci Xi and laparoscopic scrub proficiency
• Preferred: Experience with neonates, infants, and pediatrics; assembly/wrap, Mako robot, and eye cases
• LA County fire card within the last 30 days required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Experience with trauma and community hospital settings preferred
