Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, PACU – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Napa Valley region, Northern California

Schedule: Variable day shifts with 8-hour shifts based on surgical schedule and unit needs. Typical start times include 0900, 1000, or 1330. Weekend coverage based on unit needs. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a Trauma Level II facility
• PACU specialty with diverse surgical case experience across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, ortho, vascular, and bariatric procedures
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Care for patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 40 hours of paid orientation provided
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license in hand prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; Post Anesthesia Recovery certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
