Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week available. Patient ratio 1:4-5. Weekend coverage rotating as needed.

• Cardiovascular-focused patient population including CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and other cardiac conditions
• 55-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Flexible scheduling options with both 36 and 48-hour weekly schedules available
• Travel nursing position with 91-day contract duration

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license required prior to start; pending license accepted at time of application)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; CPI preferred
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or stepdown experience preferred (1+ years considered)
• Cardiovascular experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, cardiac drips, central line care, post-cardiac procedures, and specialized equipment including BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula
• First-time travelers accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from facility
