Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage as needed.

Highlights:

• Patient ratio of 1:4-5, providing quality care to cardiovascular patients
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response support
• 13-week travel assignment with competitive compensation for overtime after 48 hours in one week
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Flexible scheduling with option to work up to 48 hours per week

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care unit experience preferred (will consider 1+ years)
• Cardiovascular experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale and CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the area (local candidates not accepted)
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, cardiac drip titration, central line care, blood product administration, and post-cardiac procedure care
