Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Anchorage, AK 99508
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts (shift times vary between 0700-1700). Weekend coverage required every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule. 72 guaranteed hours per 2-week period.
Highlights:
- Work at a Magnet-designated, 407-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center
- Join a case management team supporting a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Collaborate with robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
- 91-day travel assignment with first-time travelers accepted
- Free parking and scrubs provided
- Comprehensive orientation and Epic charting system
Requirements:
- Active Alaska RN license in hand (required for expedited offer)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification preferred; ACM-RN certification preferred
- Experience with discharge planning, care coordination, InterQual criteria, and medical necessity determinations
- Behavioral health-only experience does not qualify; acute hospital background required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
