Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Polson, MT 59860

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Polson, Montana

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:30 - 15:00), with flexibility for 4x10-hour shifts. On-call required 8 shifts per month including variable nights and weekends. Every 3rd or 4th weekend rotation required. 13-week assignment ending October 12, 2026.

Highlights:

• Critical access hospital setting with 22 staffed beds and 2 operating rooms
• Comprehensive perioperative experience across Pre-op, OR, PACU, and Endoscopy departments
• Diverse surgical specialties including OBGYN, Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Pain Management, and Dental
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:4 depending on assignment
• Epic EMR charting system with 40-hour orientation provided
• Scrubs provided for OR, free parking available

Requirements:

• Active Montana or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of perioperative nursing experience
• Critical access hospital experience strongly preferred
• Must be proficient in circulating C-sections (required)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Must be flexible to float within surgical services departments and follow patients from pre-op through discharge
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates must reside outside 50-mile radius
