Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Orthopedics – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Patient ratio 1:6 on a 36-bed orthopedic medical-surgical unit.
Highlights:
- Orthopedic trauma and total joint replacement specialty unit
- Epic charting system in use
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- 13-week travel assignment with competitive compensation and scheduling flexibility
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact) must be in hand at time of application
- BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of orthopedic trauma and total joint replacement experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Must reside outside of specified local counties
