Description
Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Albuquerque, NM 87109
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Night shift, 7 days on/7 days off rotation. Choice of 4x10-hour shifts (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM) or 3x10-hour shifts (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Weekend coverage required as part of rotation.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment with 80 hours of paid orientation
- Work at two locations providing comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services
- Serve diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- 120-bed facility with 80 average daily census
- Epic charting system experience required
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
Requirements:
- Active New Mexico Pharmacy license (pending acceptable with 10-day ETA)
- PharmD or RPh degree required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and IV Certification
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Experience with clinical dosing, compounding, anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, and sterile technique
- Knowledge of Pyxis systems, pharmacokinetic dosing, and therapeutic medication monitoring
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location
