Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Labor and Delivery – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00), 13-week assignment. Patient ratio 1:3. Float between like units as needed. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Highlights:

• 277-bed acute care hospital with 10-bed Labor and Delivery Recovery Post-partum (LDRP) unit
• Daily census of 12 patients; facility averages 200-300 births per month
• Epic charting system; 36-hour orientation provided
• Experience with high-risk antepartum, magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, and circulating for C-sections
• Supportive environment with opportunities to utilize strong precepting skills
• Guaranteed hours with limited call-off provisions

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and post-partum nursing
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exams, IUPC placement and calibration, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, and maintaining central lines
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
