Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Acute Rehab – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Napa Valley region, Northern California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 16:00), every other weekend required. Average daily census of 10 patients with 5:1 patient ratios. Call may be required depending on patient census. Possible float to medical-surgical and orthopedic units.

• Work in acute inpatient rehabilitation supporting patients through intensive therapy programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
• Patients participate in 3 hours of daily therapy combining physical, occupational, and speech-language pathology
• Manageable 14-bed unit with 7 rooms and consistent patient population
• Comprehensive 40-hour orientation to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

• Active California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of acute rehabilitation experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years total RN experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and related rehabilitation diagnoses
• Proficiency with specialized rehab equipment including assistive devices, lift/transfer equipment, and feeding devices
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
