Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Acute Rehab – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Napa Valley region, Northern California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 16:00), every other weekend required. Patient ratio 1:5. Average daily census of 8-10 patients in a 14-bed acute rehabilitation unit. Float coverage to medical-surgical and orthopedic units may be required. Call required depending on patient census.

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized acute rehabilitation setting with patients participating in 3 hours of daily therapy combining physical, occupational, and speech-language pathology
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Treat diverse patient populations including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and multi-trauma cases
• Utilize Epic charting system in a modern acute care environment
• Gain experience with specialized equipment including Golvo, Sera Steady, and Roll on devices
• 13-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of acute rehabilitation experience required (hard stop requirement)
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratio of 1:5 or similar
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Willingness to work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• First-time travelers accepted
