Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), weekend coverage required (2 shifts per pay period). Patient ratio 1:6. Float to other units as needed with appropriate competencies.

• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic Medical Surgical unit with 48-bed capacity
• Diverse patient population including sepsis, COPD, post-operative care, trauma, cardiac conditions, diabetes, and more
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced medical surgical environment
• 24-36 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful transition
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; travel experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius of the area
• Proficiency in blood product administration, central line management, PCA, IV therapy, wound care, tracheostomy care, BiPAP/CPAP, and isolation precautions
