Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation – Medford, OR 97504
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Southern Oregon
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, Day shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 5x8-hour shifts. This is a 13-week travel assignment with one regular weekend shift per week. Expected patient ratio is 1:1, with approximately 6 visits per day and a daily census of 40.
Highlights:
- Work primarily in an inpatient rehabilitation unit with occasional floating to other inpatient units including ICU, telemetry, medical-surgical, emergency department, and surgical units
- Join a facility with a geriatric certified emergency department and Joint Commission certified stroke and orthopedic programs
- Access to specialized equipment including Lite Gait, treadmill, simulation car, BTE, motorized parallel bars, and simulation kitchen and laundry
- Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with diverse diagnoses including CVA, amputee care, hip and knee replacements, and neurological disorders
- Comprehensive orientation and ongoing interdisciplinary support in a 108-bed short-term acute care facility
- Epic charting system with 16 hours of orientation provided
Requirements:
- Active Oregon occupational therapy license (may submit with license pending)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Epic charting system experience required
- Strong clinical skills in acute care, adult rehabilitation, amputee care, CVA rehabilitation, prosthetics training, neurological disorders, and discharge planning
- Experience with assessment, evaluation, patient/family education, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention
- Ability to float between units and potentially to nearby affiliate locations
- Reliable transportation required for this assignment
- Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the facility
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
