Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, CSICU – Tuscaloosa, AL

Start Date: July 6, 2026 or July 20, 2026

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend and holidays as required. 36 or 48 hours per week available. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized 4-bed Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit focused on adult and geriatric cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and surgical critical care
• Provide complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring and post-operative recovery care in a patient-centered environment
• Supported by a dedicated cardiovascular educator and collaborative team
• Opportunity to work with an 8-bed stepdown unit for comprehensive cardiac care experience
• Biweekly orientation provided with comprehensive onboarding support
• Flexible weekly hours to accommodate your preferences

Requirements:

• Active Alabama or Compact RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
• Associate degree in nursing (ASN) required
• AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• AHA PALS preferred for pediatric unit assignments
• Willingness to float to other units and facilities as needed
• Proficiency with Meditech charting system preferred
