Description
Job Opportunity – Director of Nursing (DON) – Steamboat, CO
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Steamboat, Colorado
Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week guaranteed
Highlights:
- 13-week contract at a skilled nursing facility in beautiful Steamboat, Colorado
- Onsite housing available with private, locked bedroom in apartment-style accommodations
- Lead and supervise nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs in a leadership-focused role
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality resident care

Requirements:
- Active RN license in Colorado or ability to obtain
- Previous management experience required, preferably as a Director of Nursing
- Leadership skills with experience recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating nursing staff
- Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
