Job Opportunity – Pharmacist Outpatient Infusion – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00), block scheduling required. No weekends, no on-call, no float requirements. 91-day assignment ending October 26, 2026.

Highlights:

• Critical Access Hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation and 25 staffed beds
• Reduced non-billable orientation hours (0 hours versus standard 40 hours)
• Epic charting system in a teaching hospital environment
• Dedicated outpatient infusion pharmacy role with oncology patient care focus
• Patient ratio of 1:20 with daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active Oregon Pharmacist License (may submit with pending licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of dedicated outpatient infusion pharmacy experience required
• Oncology patient care experience required
• Chemo/hazardous drug certification required
• Experience with order verification of non-hazardous and hazardous outpatient infusion medications, including oncology
• Proficiency in IV infusion compounding product evaluation and verification
• Experience with evaluation of oncology and non-oncology treatment plans
• Knowledge of insurance coverage evaluation and verification processes
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Reliable vehicle required for this assignment
