Description
Job Opportunity – DEXA Technologist – Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM). No on-call, no weekends, no floating required. Patient ratio 1:1 with approximately 32 visits per day.

- Specialized DEXA Technologist role focused exclusively on bone density examinations
- Work in a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with modern Epic charting system
- Consistent day shift schedule with no weekend or call requirements
- Manageable patient volume in a two-room outpatient setting

- Travel assignment with 91-day duration and flexible time-off options
Requirements:
- Active Oregon state radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Current ARRT certification with RT (R) designation
- ARRT Bone Densitometry certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of radiology experience
- Current and proficient bone density examination experience required
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
