Description
Job Opportunity – Vascular Ultrasound Technologist – Portland, OR 97225
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
Schedule: Day shift 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:00) or Night shift 4x10-hour (22:00 - 08:00); on-call required for 4 nights; weekend shifts and weekend call as needed; 1:1 patient ratio with typical census of 8-10 patients per technologist
Highlights:
- 536-bed short-term acute care teaching facility
- Work with advanced equipment including Philips EPIQ ultrasound machines, Parks Flo-Lab, and Dolphin TCD machines
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and rapid response teams
- Serve diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- 13-week travel assignment with paid orientation
- Complimentary parking available on-site
Requirements:
- Active Oregon state license (OBMI) required or in process
- ARDMS RVT, CCI RVS, or RDCS-RVT certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent vascular ultrasound experience
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Proficiency in arterial graft studies, dialysis grafts, carotid, lower and upper extremity arterial/venous studies, duplex imaging, and Color Flow Doppler
- Experience with renal studies, transcranial Doppler, and NICU settings preferred
- Must have reliable personal vehicle for this assignment
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
