Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Neuro – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00). Flexible 36 or 48-hour weekly options available. Overtime paid after 48 total hours in one week. Six weekend shifts required within a six-week period. No call required.

• Rapid response team support and comprehensive interdisciplinary services including PT, respiratory, pharmacy, and phlebotomy
• Epic charting system with 24-hour orientation provided
• First-time travelers accepted with one year of recent experience
• Floating to like units only; no call coverage required
• 91-day assignment with up to 4 days of pre-approved time off

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending acceptable, must be obtained prior to start)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required (pending acceptable)
• CPI certification preferred
• Minimum one year of recent nursing experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios and Epic charting preferred
• Skills required: blood product administration, central line care, CVA management, wound care, IV therapy, and medical-surgical nursing
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
