Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage as needed.

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiovascular patients at a dedicated cardiac facility
• 55-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5
• 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive orientation and interdisciplinary support
• Work with a variety of cardiac diagnoses including CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and cardiovascular-related conditions
• Floating to like units within scope as needed; first-time travelers accepted
• Collaborative environment with support from respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred (1+ years considered)
• Cardiovascular experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required; CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, cardiac drips, post-cardiac procedures, and critical care skills
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the facility
