Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Med Surg/Telemetry Pulmonary – Tuscaloosa, AL

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation as required. 36 or 48 hours per week available. 13-week assignment with biweekly orientation.

• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy departments
• 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio focused on delivering high-quality, specialized care
• Opportunity to develop expertise in respiratory skills while maintaining general medicine knowledge
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with overtime available after 48 hours
• Flexibility to work 36 or 48 hours per week based on your preference

Requirements:

• Active Alabama or Compact RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience; candidates with 18 months may be considered
• At least 1 year of experience in specialty area required
• ASN degree required
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
