Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Polson, MT 59860

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Northwestern Montana

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Every other weekend typically required. On-call once per pay period maximum as needed. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• LDRP position in a 22-bed critical access facility with a daily census of approximately 2 patients
• Comprehensive obstetrical care including Labor & Delivery, triage, postpartum, and newborn care
• Patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity and unit needs
• Advanced equipment including wireless fetal monitoring and JADA device for postpartum hemorrhage management
• Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided
• Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy

Requirements:

• Active Montana or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, NRP certifications required; CLC and STABLE certifications preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; seasoned travelers only
• Must demonstrate competency in Labor & Delivery, triage, and postpartum care
• Skills required: circulating for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams, and triage of obstetrical patients
• Epic charting experience required
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
