Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Orange, CA 92868

Start Date: July 28, 2026

Location: Orange County, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs. Guaranteed hours with facility ability to call off once per pay period.

Highlights:

• 426-bed acute care Magnet-designated hospital with a very high-risk labor and delivery unit
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Care for complex pregnancy diagnoses including preterm labor, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, fetal anomalies, multiples, and diabetes
• Perform cesarean section circulation, vaginal deliveries, D&C, cerclage, and version procedures
• Free parking and scrubs provided for OR/L&D staff
• 72 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required; AWHONN Advanced preferred (NCC EFM certification may be accepted in place of Intermediate AWHONN)
• Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections and perform sterile vaginal exams
• Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred
• LA fire card within the last 30 days required
• Must be able to care for neonates and adult patient populations
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
