Description
Job Opportunity – DEXA Technologist – Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00). No weekends, no on-call, no floating required. Patient ratio 1:1 with approximately 32 visits per day.
Highlights:
- Dedicated DEXA Technologist position focused exclusively on bone density examinations
- Work in a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with Epic charting system
- Consistent day shift schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements
- 80 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
- Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in an outpatient setting
- Free parking available at the facility
Requirements:
- Active Oregon state license (may submit with pending status)
- ARRT certification with RT (R) credential through OBMI
- ARRT - Bone Densitometry certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a DEXA Technologist
- Current and proficient bone density exam experience (required)
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
