Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, PACU – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Napa Valley region, California

Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts (variable start times including 0900, 1000, or 1330 based on surgical schedule and unit needs). 40-hour orientation provided. Weekend coverage based on unit needs.

Highlights:

• Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position supporting outpatient surgical services at a Trauma Level II facility
• Variable day shift scheduling aligned with surgical volume and operational requirements
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Diverse patient population spanning all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Exposure to wide range of surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, ortho, vascular, bariatrics, and more
• 91-day travel assignment in the beautiful Napa Valley area

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; Post-Anesthesia Recovery certification preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Ability to float to affiliate facilities as needed
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
