Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with variable start times at 7:00 or 9:00. Weekend coverage required. On-call shifts distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks (up to 6-8 shifts per 6-week period, including nights, evenings, and weekends). May need to cover one night shift within contract as needed.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 277-bed acute care hospital with trauma designation
• Comprehensive OR experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, ortho, robotics, general, GU, and GYN procedures
• Work with advanced technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and Epic charting
• Daily census of approximately 25 cases with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Free parking provided
• Scrubs provided for OR staff

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2-3 years of OR nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required, with specific experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho procedures
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Extensive OR skills including trauma response, total joint replacement, spinal fusion, robotic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and vascular surgery
• Willingness to float to affiliated facilities as needed
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
