Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Winfield, KS

Location: Winfield, Kansas

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week with overtime available after 48 hours

Highlights:

• Full-spectrum labor and delivery care in a critical access facility setting
• Approximately 12-25 deliveries per month (231 total deliveries last year)
• Comprehensive nursing role including labor, delivery, newborn resuscitation, postpartum care, and 24-hour newborn testing
• Collaborative team environment with 2 OB RNs per shift and 24/7 respiratory therapy support available
• On-call opportunities with 20-minute response time when unit census is low
• 91-day assignment duration

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license or ability to obtain
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing
• Ability to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care independently
• Willingness to float to med/surg, ICU, or ER for support duties during low census periods
• Comfort working in a critical access facility with limited resources
