Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Orange, CA 92868

Start Date: July 28, 2026

Location: Orange, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM). No weekends or holidays required. Optional call shifts available for interested candidates (Monday-Friday 4:30 AM - 10:00 PM, Saturday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 60-minute response time). Orientation shifts will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM for approximately the first two weeks. Daily patient census averages 8 patients, with up to 15 PET scans per day.

  • Perform general nuclear medicine studies, Lexi scans, and PET/CT imaging (non-diagnostic)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • Valid California State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (must be active prior to start)
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Previous travel healthcare experience required (no first-time travelers)
  • PET scan experience preferred; willing to train qualified candidates on-site
  • Cardiac nuclear medicine experience preferred, especially if interested in optional call shifts
  • Proficiency in bone, brain, renal, liver, perfusion, ventilation/perfusion, and whole body scans
  • Experience with starting and maintaining IVs, EKGs, and PACS systems
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • LA fire card within the last 30 days required
