Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend required. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period. 13-week assignment with potential for extension up to one calendar year.

• Manage diverse patient population including high-risk antepartum, inductions, and third-trimester testing patients

• Robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with comprehensive orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses accepted for submission; must complete application within 48 hours of signing and obtain license prior to start)
• Minimum 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, and NRP
• Epic charting system experience required
• Charge experience strongly preferred or willingness to train as charge nurse
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Ability to float to similar units within scope as needed
