Description
Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (09:00 - 17:30). No on-call, no weekends, no floating between units required. 1:1 patient ratio.
Highlights:
- Work in a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 5 mammography rooms and state-of-the-art equipment
- Utilize Hologic 3D technology including Trident and Hologic Affirm BX systems
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast biopsies, localizations, and savvy scout procedures
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and radiology
- 40-hour orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
- Free parking available at the facility
Requirements:
- Active Oregon state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- ARRT-R and Mammography-ARRT certifications required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
- Proficiency with Hologic equipment required; biopsy experience preferred but not required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with 3D mammography, digital mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and needle localizations
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
