Job Details: Shift: 7p-7a, every other weekend and holidays as required (Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week) Length: 13 Weeks Certs: AHA BLS License: AL or Compact License (No temp Licenses accepted) Must have experience/skill set: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty. Must have ASN degree. Unit Info: Our Pulmonary Unit is 36-bed telemetry unit directed towards diagnosing and treating a wide range of patients with respiratory disorders. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and value the delivery of high-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from a variety of lung diseases or injuries. This unit takes pride in the collaborative relationships with departments such as respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management and pharmacy. This specialty requires a foundation of knowledge in general medicine as well as expertise in respiratory skills. Floating: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Ratios: Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and value the delivery of high-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from a variety of lung diseases or injuries. Charting System: Meditech Additional Information: Facility can cancel 4 shift per contract with no penalty (would be rare) and has 16 hours of Non-Billable Orientation. OT is after 48 hours regardless of a 36 or 48 hours per week. Unit wont interview but will offer based off profile. An interview can be arranged if the traveler wants one. ?
