Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: July 29, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Two weekend shifts required per contract. 36 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a busy Emergency Department with 100 daily visits and 22 treatment rooms
• Combined adult and pediatric emergency care with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Experience with critical procedures including intubation, central lines, arterial lines, and chest tubes
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• First-time travelers accepted with 1+ years of ER experience
• Flexible scheduling options with 36 or 48-hour work weeks available

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (required in hand at submission)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Willingness to float to like units within scope of practice as needed
