Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday with rotating day off, 10-hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00). Minimal call requirements of 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Two weekend shifts per contract.

13-week travel assignment in a busy 14-room operating room with 45 daily census
Work with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, neurology, vascular, and urology
Opportunity to work with advanced technology including DaVinci robotic systems and endovascular procedures
Consistent Monday through Friday schedule with rotating days off and minimal call requirements
Epic charting system experience utilized
Orientation provided with onsite module completion

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of operating room experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Required experience in orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology surgical procedures
Epic charting system experience required
BLS certification required
Preferred: Experience with DaVinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic surgery
Experience with patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
