Description

Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30), with some Saturdays as part of regular schedule. On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period.

Comprehensive procedural experience including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and structural heart procedures
Advanced technology and procedures including TAVR, Mitral Clip, STEMI, Impella, Tandem Heart, stroke thrombectomy, and neurointervention
Opportunity to float within scope to Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology labs
13-week travel assignment at a 407-bed acute care teaching facility

Requirements:

Active Alaska state license or pending license (processing takes 10-12 weeks)
ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
Required experience: Electrophysiology (EP), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular procedures, Monitoring, and Neuro procedures
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, STEMI, IABP, Impella, and structural heart procedures
Epic charting system experience required
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
