Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Burn ICU – Tulsa, OK 74104

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:2. Every other weekend required. 13-bed unit with average daily census of 13 patients.

Highlights:

  • Specialized burn ICU experience with comprehensive wound care and pain management
  • 91-day assignment in a dynamic critical care environment serving adult and geriatric populations
  • Collaborative interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
  • Advanced critical care procedures including line placement and intubation assistance
  • Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
  • Diverse patient diagnoses including burns, DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, and post-operative care

Requirements:

  • Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with ICU background
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (must be in hand)
  • Experience with Epic charting system required
  • Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
  • Trauma Level II experience preferred
  • Willingness to float to like units as needed
  • Candidates residing within 75 miles are not accepted
