Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:6 on a 36-bed unit specializing in orthopedic trauma and total joint replacement.

• Specialized orthopedic unit focusing on trauma and total joint replacement patients
• 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system in a modern medical-surgical environment
• Consistent night shift schedule with predictable 1:6 patient ratios
• Collaborative team environment with access to interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and social services

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Ortho trauma and total joint replacement experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
