Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, CVICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio of 1:2. 91-day assignment with 36 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Coronary Care Unit specializing in cardiovascular intensive care
• 10-bed unit with average daily census of 7 patients
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Adult and geriatric patient population requiring advanced cardiac and critical care interventions
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac technologies including ECMO, IABP, and pulmonary artery monitoring

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in arterial line management, ventilator care, central line management, ECMO, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IABP, vasoactive drip titration, and post-cardiac surgery care
• Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
