Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: September 22, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) with block scheduling. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). 36-hour orientation provided.
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical ICU with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
- 16-bed unit with daily census of 14 patients, caring for adult and geriatric populations
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and phlebotomy
- Epic charting system with specialized equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage)
- 13-week travel assignment with competitive compensation
- One pre-approved time off period available
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, arterial line management, and critical care procedures
- Must reside outside of designated local counties (Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris)
