Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:2. Weekend coverage required with 6 shifts per 6-week period. 36-hour orientation provided.
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and phlebotomy
- Epic charting system with specialized equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage)
- 13-week travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period available
- Float assignments based on schedule with opportunities to expand critical care skills
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 patients preferred
- Competency in ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, blood product administration, and central line care
- Geographic restrictions apply to certain local counties
