Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Patient ratio 1:2. 36-hour orientation provided.
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and daily census of 14 patients
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
- Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a dynamic critical care environment
- Specialized equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) for advanced patient care
- 91-day travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period
- Float based on schedule with comprehensive orientation support
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 patients preferred
- Must complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
