Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Fortuna, CA 95540

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 18:30). Weekend requirement: 2 weekends out of 4 off (weekend defined as 2 consecutive days Friday-Sunday). Patient ratio 2:1. Average daily census of 4 patients. Call required for low census situations. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
• Professional dress code: scrubs or business casual
• Request time off allowed (no more than 7 consecutive days)
• 12-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license (preferred in hand; pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, cardiac drip management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Willingness to float between affiliated facilities as needed
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
